PEACE CHURCH EXISTS TO GLORIFY GOD AND MAKE DISCIPLES BY HELPING EVERYDAY PEOPLE EXPERIENCE LIFE CHANGE THROUGH CHRIST-CENTERED RELATIONSHIPS. We are doing that exact thing right now. Young families and their children are being led to us in such a mighty way that the need for expansion for the future is already upon us. Peace Church’s vision focuses on the next phase of reaching our community by building a new Gen Center composed of classrooms, multi-purpose rooms, and a student worship area. We believe this next phase will accommodate our ever growing junior high and high school ministries, as well as, afford us opportunities for growth in our sports outreaches. Join us in support as Peace Church grows beyond our facilities and focuses on what’s NEXT for generations to come.
Our ministries are reaching more families and fostering growth, but with this comes the need for new resources. In 2024, our church voted to build a new facility for our sports and student ministries. Our NEXT campaign seeks to raise funds over three years, and we invite every household to prayerfully consider a sacrificial gift beyond regular tithes. Your support is vital!
Our Children will be showing off their talents and creativity during the Art Festival. Be sure to look for the display in the E6 Café.
Join us in our regular morning services as we see our blessings come together for our NEXT vision.
Gather with us as we praise and worship God on this special day of celebration! We will receive our “first fruits” offering for the 3-year giving period.
Seeking God’s guidance in this project is essential. The prayer guide provides a focused structure, allowing us to pray with intention and highlight a specific theme each week as we approach Commitment Sunday. Click the button below to access the prayer guide.
Are you enthusiastic about giving to this vision, but not sure where to start? Here are some creative ways to help allocate or free up resources so you can be a part of the next campaign
Are there things in your life you can take advantage of less frequently? Maybe it’s fewer Starbucks runs or one less dinner out each week. By decreasing a weekly expense, regardless of what it might be, you can save a significant amount to contribute.
Are there plans you might be making that involve a financial commitment? If so, prayerfully ask God about delaying those plans and using the extra income to contribute.
Often, there are creative ways to save money. Maybe it’s been a while since you got a quote for an existing service (ie., cell phone and cable service). Perhaps you could do some extra comparison or bargain shopping to save funds. For your kids, it could be as easy as saving extra change to give.
A great way to contribute is to give existing assets. Giving assets to the church and letting us sell them eliminates potential capital gains taxes and may increase after-tax proceeds. Please contact the church office for more guidance before committing an asset gift in order to determine its viability for liquidation.
The Peace Church Gen Center will house a new student center, small group classrooms, a multipurpose gymnasium, and more that will allow us to continue reaching more lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every time the doors to this building are open we want share with anyone who walks through the doors that they are absolutely loved by God who wants a personal relationship with them.
Peace Church believes that God has given us the vision for this building so that we can continue to share the Gospel of Jesus with our community. We have faith that through a combination of sacrificial giving from our congregation and with the help of God, we will see something that only God can do as we look to what’s NEXT at Peace!
Every household in the congregation is asked to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial commitment to be given over the next three years over and above their ongoing tithes and offerings. We believe that God will place exactly what He will have your family do in your hearts! So pray and trust!
Giving from income is often the primary response to contributing to a stewardship campaign. In addition to giving income, you can convert non-cash items into cash donations to give or, in some cases, give those non-cash items to the campaign. When considering these or other creative giving ideas, contact your tax accountant/advisor who can advise you about tax credit strategies and the most advantageous way to make a gift to your church. Additionally, IRS rules are subject to change.
HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF CREATIVE NON-CASH GIFTS YOU COULD CONSIDER:
•ANTIQUES
•JEWELRY
•SPORTS MEMORABILIA
•AUTOMOBILES
In most cases, individuals will sell the vehicle and donate the proceeds to the church.
•IRA GIFTS
Individuals who are at least 70 1/2 years old can make a direct trustee to trustee (institution to institution) transfer from their IRA to the church. Thereby allowing them to avoid all federal (and possibly state) tax on their RMD (up to $100,000). Keep in mind that if you pass the minimum age requirement of 70 1/2 during our three-year commitment period, you can participate in this provision from that point forward.
•LIFE INSURANCE
Some individuals have accumulated cash value in insurance policies that they may give to the church.
•REAL ESTATE
Any unencumbered piece of real estate that is readily sellable can be a valuable gift.
•STOCKS OR BONDS
Giving appreciated stocks or bonds, plus accounts subject to IRS income taxes, can be advantageous to the donor to the church. The donor may avoid paying capital gains taxes while receiving a charitable deduction, and the church will receive a beneficial and liquid asset. To claim these tax benefits, the stocks/bonds/mutual funds must be transferred to the church rather than selling and donating the proceeds.

The Peace Church leadership has been seeking God’s guidance for the next step in the church’s growth. They believe it is time to build a new Gen Center to support the Student Ministry, Kingdom Kids Child Development Center, Camp Peace ministry, and growing community partnerships. Construction will begin once the current debt is paid off, and $5 million or less is needed to complete the project. Commitment cards will be turned in on December 8th, with the results celebrated on December 22nd, as the church takes the next step in faith. All personal commitment information will remain confidential.
